HYGEIA IVF Embryogenesis: HHG Group’s largest Assisted Reproduction Unit in Greece
The Assisted Reproduction Unit HYGEIA IVF Embryogenesis, a member of the Hellenic Healthcare Group (HHG), deliver on Thursday, October 12th at 19:00, a presentation to journalists entitled “Made with Love and Science” at the exhibitory area of the War Museum Athens. The presentation was attended by the Scientific, Directory and management board of the Unit.
The attendees had the opportunity to learn more about the operation of the HYGEIA IVF Embryogenesis Unit over the last one and a half years and get more information about its valuable contribution to many couples in their desire to deliver a healthy child. After all, the issue of low birth rates is a major one for our country, with social and economic implications, affecting the daily life and psychology of thousands of couples.
During the presentation, the guests were informed about the state-of-the-art assisted reproduction unit and its advanced Embryology Laboratory, one of the best in the world, where the most innovative and specialized IVF methods are applied. Allied with science and technology, the HYGEIA IVF Embryogenesis Unit has cutting edge technology equipment, such as Time-lapse systems with advanced technology incubators, the only in Greece LifeAire IVF ventilation system that improves up to 14.9% success rates of IVF, the RI Witness tracking and identification system, the Log&Guard system for monitoring laboratory conditions, innovative AI systems, and a Cryopreservation Bank.
At the HYGEIA IVF Embryogenesis Unit, there is an in-house Genetics Laboratory, the first in Greece licensed by the National Authority for Medically Assisted Reproduction. The Laboratory operates in state-of-the-art facilities allowing the genetic analysis of embryos in the context of preimplantation diagnosis, within the Unit.
Finally, the presentation included a screening of the short movie “Stork”, which tells the story of a couple facing fertility issues in the most imaginative and sweet way, highlighting how with the power of love and science, a small miracle can be born.
